Celebrating an extraordinary partnership

In the final few days of their Sri Lanka trip, the boys completed work on the fabulous new classroom space at the CAL Centre, while also giving the existing classrooms and playground a fresh coat of paint.

There was plenty of excitement away from the classroom too, as the cricket tournament reached its conclusion, with Green Galaxy emerging victorious in the final. The boys also enjoyed a trip to the beach with their buddies, which for many was a first experience, before coming together for a final showcase celebrating this extraordinary partnership.

Then came the emotional farewells, as the boys said goodbye to their new friends before beginning their journey back to Colombo. Along the way, they visited Pidurangala and Sigiriya, enjoyed an elephant safari and met with representatives at the British High Commission.

It has been a remarkable trip, filled with friendship, teamwork, new experiences and lasting memories and one that will live on in the memories of the boys and staff alike for many years to come.
