Drama Scholars showcase highlights talent across the School

The EM Forster Theatre recently hosted the annual Drama Scholars Showcase, an evening celebrating the talent and dedication of Tonbridge’s drama scholars. The programme featured a varied selection of monologues and duologues from both classical and contemporary theatre, performed by pupils from Novi through to the Sixth Form.

Highlights included performances from Marcus (SH1) in The Date, Beau (PH2) in Pig Heart Boy, and Max (HS3) in Uncle Vanya. The audience also enjoyed a comedic performance of The Crutch by Theo (OH2), a duologue from Josh (WW4) and Theo (FH4), and extracts from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Things I Know to Be True and Henry IV, Part 1.

The showcase demonstrated the breadth of dramatic talent across the School and provided pupils with the opportunity to perform challenging and engaging material before a live audience.
