Strong performances in the National Cross-Country Cup

Tonbridge School’s Intermediate and Senior teams delivered impressive performances at Somerhill in the opening round of the National Cross-Country Cup, tackling a demanding and hilly course against strong opposition.

The Intermediate team secured an excellent joint fifth-place finish, while the Senior team produced an outstanding performance to claim second place overall. There was also an exceptional individual result from Nico (SH5), who finished fourth in his race.

The Senior team have now qualified for the Regional Final, which takes place in the coming weeks, while the Intermediate team are awaiting confirmation of qualification.

These achievements are made all the more impressive by the fact that this was our first participation in the National Cross-Country Cup.
