Boys receive full scholarships to prestigious summer programmes
The Lower Sixth A Level Design, Technology and Engineering students have been working on an exciting commercial project in partnership with Mira Showers.
Last Friday, the group presented their innovative designs to Martino Passalacqua, Chief Designer for Mira UK, and John Paul Rowan, Chief Marketing Officer at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
The students were commended for their exceptional professionalism and the impressive quality of their work, with both judges commenting on the creativity and technical understanding demonstrated by our talented young designers.
Mr Rowan was so impressed by the standard of the presentations that he has offered each student a full scholarship to attend one of SCAD’s prestigious summer programmes in Savannah. This remarkable opportunity reflects the high standard of teaching and learning within the Design, Technology and Engineering department, as well as the students’ dedication in bringing innovative ideas to life.
