Old Tonbridgian Louis Tipper reaches England Hockey Final

Congratulations to Old Tonbridgian Louis Tipper (WH 2014-19), who enjoyed an excellent end to the hockey season with Wimbledon HC, reaching the England Hockey Men’s Premier Division Final against Old Georgians.

Wimbledon made a strong start, taking an early lead before Louis doubled their advantage in the 25th minute. Old Georgians, however, responded well to secure a 3-2 victory and claim the Premier Division title.

While it was a disappointing result for Wimbledon on the day, reaching the final was a superb achievement. Louis’ goal on such a significant stage was a proud moment for the Tonbridge hockey community.

Wimbledon have also qualified for the EuroHockey League KO16 next season, and we wish Louis every success as he continues to represent the club in Europe.
