Concert to celebrate Tonbridge School music

A special evening showcasing the excellence and variety of music at Tonbridge School is taking place on Friday 19 January.
In a concert at London’s Cadogan Hall, there will be performances from the Chapel Choir and Old Tonbridgian Choir, as well as Big Band performances of pieces such as Blue Skies and Soul Man.
The Massed String Orchestra will be performing Arvo Pärt’s Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, while the Symphony Orchestra will be playing Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet and pieces by Parry and Mendelssohn.
Tim Haynes, Headmaster of Tonbridge School, says the event is not to be missed. “It is wonderful to have this opportunity to celebrate the great and diverse musical talents of Tonbridge boys, past as well as present. A great deal of work has been put in by all the performers, and by many others behind the scenes, and I am sure we will all have an evening to remember.”
The concert, Celebrating Tonbridge School Music, will be taking place at 7.30pm at Cadogan Hall, 5 Sloane Terrace, London SW1X 9DQ.
