Prestigious Arkwright Scholarship for Tonbridge pair

Two eager engineering Third Year pupils, Guy (OH3) and Kai (JH3), have been awarded the prestigious Arkwright Scholarship.

Given to hard-working 16-year-olds through a rigorous selection process, the Scholarship provides access to a wide range of exclusive events within the industry sector, a personal mentor who guides each student in future study and career development, as well as financial support to assist in STEM related activities, equipment and travel.

Guy, whose favourite subjects are Design, Technology and Engineering, alongside Mathematics, says, “Being awarded this scholarship and having the opportunity to call myself an Arkwright Scholar is truly an honour. I am already looking forward to the benefits the scholarship will bring and how it will help me in the future.”
