Tonbridge recognised in the world’s leading sustainable schools
Tonbridge has been ranked 7th in the Global Green School Ranking of 2026, a distinction that reflects our commitment to creating an environment where sustainability is embedded into governance, teaching and learning, site operations, and community engagement.
The Global Green School Ranking 2026 is rooted in UNESCO’s Greening Education Partnership and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It recognises schools that have successfully integrated sustainability into every aspect of school life.
Head of Sustainability, Will Biddle, said “I am thrilled to be recognised in this global ranking. It acknowledges the impact of our Environmental Sustainability Strategy and all of the thought and effort that our Green Committee and wider school community has put into achieving the goals outlined in it”.
